Momentum has been gathering over the last 6 months and a lot of doors which were previously shut have just started to open for us. We have been approached by 2 record companies and some festival organisers and are currently in discussions as to what’s next for SUMMERS. All of us have spent hours talking (and drinking, and talking and….) contemplating the next steps but it’s a step in the right direction and we’re really excited about the prospects.

BUT nothing would have progressed this far without the support of you – our AMAZING fans and the radio stations who are constantly plugging the band. Keep your fingers crossed for us and we’ll keep you up-to-date as things unfold.

Hi Guys,

Well!!! what a weekend, Ricky celebrated his birthday Thursday through to the early hours of Saturday and spent most of Sunday catching up on sleep. All his mates decide to dress up as a member of Summers including our folks…lol, Me on the other hand just chilled out with a few friends that I have not had the time to see for awhile. Both of us would like to thank everyone for our birthday messages.
This week you can listen to our interview with Paul Nicholls on Tuesday 27th on ARFM from 10pm (GMT). Also we have just had a review on www.myglobalmind.com. If you have the time please check them both out and as always let us know your thoughts.
Also we would like to thank everyone who keeps asking us to come and play in your area. We are working on it and hopefully we will see you soon.

HELLO!!

We did two interviews via Skype this week with www.radiorockcafe.com and ARFM(listen to it on the Tuesday 27th). A huge thanks to these guys and every other radio station who plays and promotes Summers. We probably don’t say it enough, but your support means a lot to us and means people out there get to listen to the music we love making. Also we found out that ‎“TOLD YOU SO” reached Number 38 on the Top 100 of radiorockcafe.com most requested music in the last year. Check out some of the HUGE names we were above.

As you all know we’re back in the studio after a hectic summer of shows. We have lots of new material on the way but just working hard on getting it finished now.

Right…as I am off on holiday tomorrow for a few days I would like to wish my good friends Crash and Ricky a very Happy Birthday. Some of you may see Ricky wondering the streets in the early hours of Sunday morning so I apologise in advance for anything he destroys. And I publicly apologise for not being around for Crash’s birthday…I doubt he will ever let me live this down .

Hi Everyone,

It feels like ages since we last blogged but we’re all still alive, been busy writing and recording (and listening to Popey’s jokes). Tickets have also been booked for Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Steel Panther in December which we cannot wait for now. Three amazing bands in one venue!!!! It sounds too good to be true.

This week we’re doing our first Fresher’s Fair at Eastleigh College which is being held on Wednesday. Looking forward to a show after a few weeks of solid studio work… I’m sure you’ll hear us from miles away so keep your ears peeled from 12 noon till 2pm.

Lastly, we can’t believe it’s been 10 years since 9/11 and send our thoughts and prayers to all the people effected because of the events that occurred on that day.

Hello my adoring fans, it’s Andy “the money shot” Pope here!!!

I haven’t done a blog for a long time so the boys have let me loose on this one. First of all, I fixed a friends shower this week on the promise I would get the first shower with her. However I haven’t heard anything so far…  maybe her phone is
broken or something.LOL

Today I’ve got to pop down to the studio as I heard the boy`s need my input. Seriously, they can`t cope without me. Lol!!!

Over the past few weeks the guys and I have been sorting out gigs up and down the country for the New Year, so if we come to see you, then we hope your come to see us.

And Finally, it has been a sad week as it was the anniversary of the death of my uncle who died at the battle of the “Little Big Horn”. The saddest thing was, he wasn’t even in the battle and was camping in the other field. However when he went over to complain about the noise some b**tard shot him.

Hey Everyone… Ricky here!!

I hope everyone has had an awesome weekend!!!! I have only just recovered from Jase`s birthday. And let this be a tip to you all, if Jase`s dad ever offers you a drink, make sure you decline politely. Lol!!!

We had a good night on Saturday as we played the Heroes Rock Festival in Liss. It was for a great cause and the organiser Adie did an awesome job so thanks for having us and hosting such a great event dude.

Jase, Crash and myself have been at it again and have some new song ideas floating around in our heads. We will do our best to try and get them recorded at some point this week so you guys can preview them very soon.

Now, I will blame Crash for this, because if he spent more time working and less time on his hair he might not have forgotten! A while ago we ran a competition to find out what you guys thought made SUMMERS different from the other bands of today and old. Crash forgot all about this until now, so we have asked the guys at the Junk Labelto choose not one but THREE winners! So on behalf of the band I would like to say congrats to Miss_Metalgirl, Marielune88 & Casunshine (We will be sending a CD off to you very guys soon)

Finally, it is a special persons birthday today. This dude means a lot to the band so we would like to say a MASSIVE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Robert Gwilliam (of The Junk Label) and hope he has an awesome day. And if it’s not too much trouble, make sure you save me a piece of birthday cake!

Have an awesome week guys and stay out of trouble !!!! (she is bad news Lol)
